Reflect on a time when you or someone you know had to choose between fitting in and staying true to their identity; what was gained or lost in that experience?

 prompt: A time someone chose to fit in over everything else was when I had this friend that thought it was embarrassing to wear the color pink in middle school. Each time she saw someone with the color pink she would say its too girly, and she was only doing that to fit in with a group of boys. I learned that some people will do anything to keep a certain group of companions.
