Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

 Prompt: A time someones legs had a lasting effect on me was when my friend once told me I was a great listener. Even though it was a simple passing compliment, it meant a lot to me that a friend considered me a safe place where someone actually listened to her. It made me work hard to make sure that other people also felt like I was a safe place for them, and it ended up being a trait I took pride in.
