What do you know about your birth

prompt: What I know is that my birth was unpredictable, that I came out two weeks later than I was expected to. I don't know much about what the birth process was like, but I know my mom had an epidural which she complains is the reason her back hurts to this day. I was born in the evening around 6pm, and it was suggested my mom had a c-section but she decided to go with natural birth. Afterwards she had to get a lot of stitches. I wasn't explicitly named after a 2000's girl group singer, but that is where my mom got inspiration for my name.

summary: Read two poems by William Blake and analyzed what they represent and the imagery/meaning of both.

reflection: Practiced analyzing poems and understanding comparisons and diction

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?

Blake uses the chimney sweepers to expose how society ignores suffering. Reflect on a time when you noticed someone being treated unfairly or saw a situation that didn’t seem right. How does this experience connect to the emotions or ideas expressed in one or both poems?
